Farmhouse. Restored barn. A glass greenhouse by the water. 22.5 acres along the Black River, fifteen minutes from Okemo.
The Barn at Black River sits on both sides of a quiet Vermont road — an 1800s farmhouse and a dairy barn on one side, a stream-fed stretch of riverbank and a glass greenhouse on the other. We're restoring it thoughtfully, piece by piece, and opening it to a small number of weddings, retreats, and farm-to-table dinners each season. Nothing here is staged for a photo. It's a real farm, and your event becomes part of its story.
Ceremony by the river, reception in the barn or greenhouse. An estate that comfortably holds a full wedding weekend, not just a single day.

Trailheads and paddling access within a short drive, for guests who want to spend a morning outside before the celebration.
Sunrise yoga sessions on the mountain, a favorite addition for retreat groups and wedding parties staying the weekend.
We're restoring this farm in the open — real photos, real progress, real timeline. The first events on the property happen this fall. The Barn at Black River, Cavendish VT
